INTON GLOBAL pellets work.

Our organic soil conditioner is engineered to retain moisture in the root zone of perennial crops, berry fields, orchards and greenhouse crops. It is designed for any soil where irrigation is expensive and intense sun drives water loss too quickly.

Four scenarios where the pellet's physical properties deliver the most impact — from fruit orchards to urban landscaping.

01ORCHARDS & NURSERIES

Intensive fruit orchards & nurseries

Why it matters. Young, high-value cherry, apple and pear trees are most vulnerable immediately after planting.

How it works. Pellets are placed directly in the planting hole beneath the roots. With every irrigation cycle or rainfall, they act as an underground reservoir, holding water near the roots instead of allowing it to drain into deeper soil layers.

Result. Sapling survival rises to up to 100%, roots are protected from drying and orchard irrigation frequency can be cut in half.

02VITICULTURE

Viticulture

Why it matters. Vines need a stable water balance during the hottest summer months.

How it works. Applying pellets to the root zone when establishing a vineyard creates a long-lasting underground moisture barrier. The pellets absorb water and release it gradually as the surrounding soil dries.

Result. Vines retain access to moisture, grapes are protected from heat stress and the operating cost of pumps and drip irrigation can fall by up to 50%.

03GREENHOUSES & PROTECTED CULTIVATION

Greenhouse complexes & protected cultivation

Why it matters. Greenhouse operators need to reduce the use of costly process water and improve substrate structure.

How it works. Pellets are mixed into the soil when preparing beds or filling cultivation trays. By repeatedly swelling to three times their dry volume during irrigation and contracting as they release moisture, the pellets act like micro-pumps that loosen the soil from within.

Result. Greenhouse soil is less prone to compaction and surface crusting, roots receive more oxygen and irrigation costs fall.

04GREENING

Landscape design & urban greening

Why it matters. Lawns, flower beds and ornamental plantings must remain resilient under harsh urban conditions.

How it works. Pellets are applied beneath turf or seeded lawns and placed in planting holes for ornamental shrubs and roadside or park trees.

Result. Grass and shrubs stay green through peak heat without the need for daily artificial irrigation.

Pellet dosage per plant or square metre of soil is calculated individually. Because field performance depends on climate and soil type, we recommend a small preliminary test on a limited area before large-scale application.
