What matters
before the pilot.

Does the product replace fertilizer?

No. INTON GLOBAL is an organic soil conditioner that physically retains moisture and improves soil structure. It is fully compatible with standard crop nutrition systems and liquid mineral fertilizers, helping protect nutrients from being washed out of the root zone.

Can it be used with drip irrigation?

Yes — this is an ideal use case. Pellets are placed directly beneath the emitters in the zone of maximum wetting. The product stores supplied water, reduces irrigation frequency and can cut electricity and pumping costs by up to 2×.Important: reduce the volume of water supplied proportionally to avoid overwatering and root-zone waterlogging.

Is special equipment required?

No. The pellets' geometry and density are designed for compatibility with standard agricultural seeders and spreaders already used by commercial farms. Mechanized application at larger volumes can be integrated into existing operating processes.

How is the application rate determined?

The baseline recommendation is 50 grams per plant for tomatoes, cucumbers, flowers and other vegetable crops, and 200 grams per fruit tree. The exact commercial-scale rate depends on soil type and climate and should be confirmed through a preliminary small-scale field test.

Can the pellets be mixed into substrate?

Yes. Mixing pellets into soil is a standard method for preparing greenhouse beds and filling planting holes. The pellets expand up to threefold when wet, so even distribution through the substrate improves porosity and oxygen access to roots.

What happens after the season?

After 10–12 months, the pellets fully biodegrade in the soil. The product is 100% natural, leaves no toxic microplastics and permanently improves soil structure, water capacity and aeration.

Do the pellets smell like wool or attract pests?

Because the wool is not chemically washed, its natural lanolin remains in the pellets and acts as a natural repellent. Pellets are always covered with 5–7 cm of soil, so no lanolin smell remains at the surface. High-temperature processing destroys pathogens, infections and weed seeds, making the product sterile and safe.

How should the pellets be stored, and what is their shelf life?

When kept dry in the original industrial packaging, the pellets have a virtually unlimited shelf life and retain their physical and mechanical properties for years. They tolerate high warehouse temperatures; the key requirement is protection from direct moisture before application.
